All of my gym clothes are in the washing so instead of using that as an excuse to not exercise, I put on leggings and an old T-shirt and jumped on the exercise bike that the family have on the terrace.
It’s hot as balls today but theres a little cool breeze which was so lovely, made me think twice about running outside again (maybe soon I need to start getting ready for the 5K). Anyway 30 minutes on the bike at the highest intensity, it’s not much but it’s better than nothing. Just out the shower and feeling good! Had some toast and a croissant for breakfast, Gonna have lunch soon then go out. I don’t have any plans but the weather is too nice to sit in the house, maybe i’ll just go a wander down to the beach.
Today has been the first really hot day and everyone is saying it’s the beginning of Spring. I’m happy it won’t be cold anymore but my god if this is how hot it gets the first day of spring, I think I might die in the peak of summer.
Am I the only colour runner that isn’t doing keto?
Jump on that bandwagon!
I’m doing the colour run too! Wish I could give keto a go but living in Spain makes it impossible, I literally live on potatoes pasta and bread haha
In the beginning I joined weightwatchers, it’s the only thing thats ever provided me with enough structure and information about what I eat. It’s so easy to follow the plan, the weight was falling off! Then when it started to slow down I started going back to the gym, usually twice a week, sometimes 3 times. Doing a mixture of cardio and weights through classes like body combat or body pump. I really enjoy classes better as it actually motivates me to get off my ass!
As for eating my old habits were ridiculous, I would binge in the evnings with a packet of biscuits, like a whole packet, or a tub of ice cream or just massive portions of food. I introduced more fruit into my diet and now i generally just drink water instead of soda all the time. I stopped binging, learned how to snack in moderation and portion control for my lunches and dinners etc.
Honestly if you are able to join a weight watchers I highly recommend it! If not it’s sheer willpower to create healthy eating habits and work out a few times a week.
I had a really indulgent weekend when my boyfriend was here, I don’t regret it at all because the food we ate was amazing and we did lots of walking
and other forms of exercise but I’m definitely expecting a gain tomorrow. Been drinking water like a tank since Tuesday to try and prevent any water weight.
Whatever happens on the scales tomorrow will happen and I’ll move on to next week. My next target it 190lbs. Which I can hopefully hit before I go home for Easter (5 weeks from today!)
